Hey Family!!!
Wow it really is another week already! Where is time gone to?? Things here are fabulous - loving every minute of it!!! Glad you enjoyed the pics and all - it was definitely a great week but so has this one! We have some very special investigators right now that are very interested and love what we are sharing! One of them by the name of Mirian has already read like 1st and is almost done with 2nd Nephi! She wanted to read the Book before asking Heavenly Father if what we were sharing is true but me and my comp both bore powerful testimonies to her and she finally decided to pray. We are going back tonight to see what her answer was and all but I've got good expectations for her. Then Dawnerys is doing great. I told you about her last week, I think! After the second visit she already had her answer and is very interested and we already have a baptism date for her, so its been good for sure!! We have others but they aren't progressing as much, but the work is moving along and I'm loving every minute here!
This week has also had some crazy times, haha! We got locked out of our house and there are bars all around our apartment and windows so its like impossible to get in. Me being the smallest one,haha, had to fit through the bars of the gate and get in - I almost died! It like cut off my air, hahaha, it was funny though! Then this week we also haven't had water so I smell horrible and stuff. I mean we have drinking water, of course, but nothing to shower with or anything so that kinda sticks but it's all part of the experience! It's been a fun week for sure! Also this week I've got a funny story for you. Okay so the other day we were doing service for some members and just people on the street, well we were filling 5 gallon buckets and carrying them up this probably 200 yard or so stair case and then up another inclined hill. It was hard because it was very hot and somewhat heavy. I was working my tail off like running and grabbing peoples water and helping them and all - I was like going crazy kinda haha,. Well all the kids are like you are strong and things like that and then this random Dominican guy comes up to my comp and he is like 'the little one is very strong´ hahaha! He is like 6 foot 2 inches and 180 or something and I just found that funny because I told him I played football and all in high school and he was like dang you are tiny and making fun of my size and I didn't say anything to him then but after that I was just like dude size doesn't matter when you've got heart!! I do like my comp, he is a good funny kid and way cool! We get along well and we work very hard! Our area is one of the least successful areas I guess you could say, but we work hard - like we both come home exhausted every night! Things really are fabulous here though, family - I love it so much!!
Tell Eric hi for me and to write me or something I want to know how the kid is doing! That stinks for Garret Turley - poor guy! I am glad to hear you are enjoying young women's. I'm sure you are doing amazing in there! So glad you had fun with Beck and glad Paul and Celeste enjoyed the lake!! How's Clayton doing? The weather here is getting hotter than before but yeah it's pretty much like this all year but im getting used to it! It hasn't been raining as much lately and things so that's too bad. Oh and the mosquito's are crazy here! I get eaten alive at nights sometimes. Like my legs itch like crazy sometimes hahaah! I think I got bit by one underneath my eye or something because its really sore and really puffed up - it looks like someone punched me right in the eye, haha.
